Ciao a tutti, hello everyone!
My name is Giulia (Julia) and I am a singer-songwriter from Florence, Italy who has now been in Austin for 11 years. I have released 6 records since I moved here and played lots of shows around town and toured the US extensively. I sing in 4 languages and play guitar, upright bass and ukulele. I've been lucky enough to share the stage and collaborate with amazing artists like 10,000 Maniacs, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Mary Gauthier, Miles Zuniga (Fastbal) Charlie Sexton and more...
I have a new record coming out in April called “Only Luna Knows” and a cookbook called “Dinner with Giulia - Flavors, songs and stories of a Florentine Troubadour” In 2017 I also created “Dinner with Giulia” which is a house concert plus a 5 course Italian meal prepared by me. I live a crazy bi-continental life spending time here in the US and in Europe and it feels like I’m permanently jet lagged and I love to share stories about my home country and my adventures on this beautiful planet and I love cooking and sharing food with friends.
