It’s almost inconspicuous... and, it seems to me,
that the building just grew there...
For years, I’ve felt an affinity to the place
every time I’ve driven by...
I wish more buildings seemed that much in repose...
Little did I imagine... in the ‘70s, in the ‘80s, the ‘90s...
(I really have no idea when it was built)... that someday
I’d play music and sing my songs inside...
in 2011, Butch Morgan and I played there...
in 2012, my son, Rory Hancock, and I played there...
It’s been six years... and now, on Saturday Feb 9th at 6:30 pm,
I’ll be back... and Shawnee Kilgore will open the show...
The space is delightful for music... the room is great sounding,
and all the folks involved are simply awesome... a great atmosphere...!!!
So Hey, Ya’ll...!!!
